Year for Year we taste approximately 50 different samples of wines from different parts of the world with the majority being Europe. On our trips we also have the opportunity to sample directly from the barrel at the different producers. That enables us to purchase a fantastic product at a very good price relation.
The criteria’s of wines we are looking for are “Food wines”. Tasty fresh fruity wines, medium bodied with 100% steel tank fermentation and well balanced acidity. We are reluctant to purchase white wines which went through Malactic fermentation as these wines are usually very buttery with low acidity.
